2007 Grant Recipients
LANDFALL FOUNDATION AWARDS 59 GRANTS TOTALING $211,785
WILMINGTON, NC - The Landfall Foundation has awarded the largest distribution in the group's 11 year history.
The foundation, established by Landfall residents in 1996, provides funds for arts, education, health and welfare activities in Southeastern North Carolina. It awards grants for projects it believes serve the greatest needs for the largest number of people, and those that can make the greatest impacts.
Recipients of the $211,785 in grants were announced Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2007.
Here are the recipient organizations, the program or purpose for the grant, and the amounts awarded:
ARTS: 17 projects totaling $62,100
- Alliance for a Regional Concert Hall (ARCH), Capital Campaign Consultation & Preparation: $4,000
- Big Dawg Productions, Festival of New Plays 2008: $3,000
