Landfall Foundation’s 2026 Gala Raises Over $460,000
All proceeds to support their 2026 Wilmington-based non-profit grants programs
Wilmington, NC — The Landfall Foundation celebrated the spirit of Cinco de Mayo in style as its 2026 Annual Gala raised more than $460,000 in one exciting, funfilled evening. The festive event brought together community supporters for an unforgettable celebration benefiting nonprofit organizations across the greater Wilmington area.
Guests enjoyed vibrant décor, festive music, and high energy entertainment inspired by the Cinco de Mayo theme, creating an atmosphere of joy, generosity, and community connection. The evening’s success reflects the strong and continued support of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who share the Foundation’s commitment to making a local impact.
All proceeds from the gala will fund local nonprofit organizations and schools, supporting well-defined projects and initiatives in Health and Welfare, Education and the Arts. 100% of grant money serves residents in Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
“This event truly captured the joy of giving,” said Denise Baer, President. “Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we are able to continue investing in meaningful programs that strengthen our local community.”
About the Landfall Foundation
The Landfall Foundation’s mission is to provide support to non-profit organizations serving Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender counties. A private, independent 501(c)(3), which is not a part of the Country Club of Landfall or any of the Landfall Homeowners associations, grants are awarded for well-defined projects and programs in the areas of Health & Welfare, Education, and The Arts through a comprehensive vetting process. Three annual fund-raisers provide the bulk of the funding for the grants including the Annual Gala, The Art Show and Sale, and the Holiday Marketplace. To date, the Foundation has raised and distributed over 8.6 million dollars to Wilmington area non-profit organizations and schools.

Landfall Foundation Announces 2025 Grants Supporting Community Initiatives
The Non-Profit Foundation awarded $685,000 in Grants This Year to Empower Local Organizations to Create a Lasting Impact
Wilmington, NC — The Landfall Foundation is proud to announce the results of its 2025 Grants program, continuing its commitment to fostering positive change in our community. The non-profit foundation awarded $685,000 in grants this year in the areas of health & welfare, education and the arts through a comprehensive vetting process toward a wide range of initiatives designed to strengthen, enrich, and uplift the Wilmington area. Recipients included Domestic Violence Shelter, Canines for Service, Eden Village of Wilmington and Kids Making It, Incorporated.
