2026 Grant Awards
The Landfall Foundation is pleased to announce its 2026 Grant Recipients. We received 150 applications totaling nearly $1.7 million, underscoring the significant need in our community. We funded 68 applications totaling $830,000. In addition to impactful macro grants and our annual micro grants, we are piloting two new programs in this year’s grant pool: multi-year grants and capacity-building grants. This marks an exciting shift for the Landfall Foundation as we continue partnering with local organizations and listening closely to their needs.
Good Shepherd, Nourish NC, and Cape Fear Literacy Council will each receive $15,000 grants in 2026, 2027, and 2028. These organizations have consistently demonstrated their ability to fulfill their missions and deliver proven results.
The Harrelson Center and the Boys & Girls Club were each awarded $15,000 capacity- building grants to strengthen their organizational infrastructure. Both organizations have also demonstrated their ability to deliver high-quality programs in our community.

In addition to its regular grants, the Landfall Foundation partnered with Cape Fear Collective to develop the “State of Nonprofits” report. With generous support from donor George Keller, a $14,000 grant to Cape Fear Collective helped fund this effort and increased the Landfall Foundation’s total 2026 community investment to $844,000. This partnership reflects the Landfall Foundation’s commitment to helping local nonprofits reach their full potential. The full report will be released January 2027.
Thank you to our generous donors, without whom this work would not be possible; our grants committees; the Landfall Foundation Board; Fletcher Daniels and QENO; and, of course, our grantees. Thank you for all you do for our community!
